Something to See

Here's something I would really like to see in person.  It's a bike path by artist Daan Roosegaard  in the Dutch town of Eindhoven.  He used LED lights to design the path based on Van Gogh's Starry Night.   Here's a video clip and link to an article on this.

Latest Painting

I've been spending lots of time in the studio lately and have a new painting to show you.  This one takes us back to the hills.  I like exploring shapes and color combinations in these slightly stylized  landscapes.  I had a sketch that I made before I started the painting but made a few modifications to the composition and color combinations as I went along.  Sometimes an entire painting and its title will pop into my head before I begin painting, and sometimes things evolve as I go.
