It's time! The Chatham Studio Tour starts this weekend, December 6th - 7th and continues the following weekend, December 13th -14th. Studios will be open from 10am - 5pm each day, and you can find all the details
here. There will also be an opening reception Friday night from 7 - 9 pm at the
CCCC campus in Pittsboro, NC. This exhibit will be open Saturday and Sunday for visitors to preview works from all artists on the Tour.
Speaking of the preview show, here's the painting I'm planning enter called "Late Autumn Fog". You can see its early stages below too.
Colorwise, this is pretty tame for me. I enjoyed working with shades of gray for a change and think I'll do more paintings with just a hint of color. That reminds me, I never showed you the finished painting for a couple of posts ago. It's a snow scene, so it also has a limited color palette.
